Back to school is certainly going to look different for everyone this year, but my girls are still looking forward to the preparation for the year with back to school essentials. These items have been hand chosen by my twin 13 year old girls who will be entering 8th grade this Fall. If you are a mom of teen girls, I am sure that your daughters wish lists for Fall look very similar! Izzie and Piper are talking in detail about each item below!
1 // LapGear Designer Lap Desk with Phone Holder and Device Ledge //
These were a hit last Spring when the girls were doing distance learning. My girls often sat on their beds while they were working on school and loved these. Several patterns/colors are available for both girls and boys.
2 // Alarm Clock with USB Charger // My girls love these because they double as a charging station and have all kinds of fun features. Plus, they actually wake themselves up!
3 // Seamless Face Cover Mouth Mask Bandana Neck Gaiter Cool Lightweight // These are a great option for masks because they are easy to pull up and down and are comfortable. No ear straps to mess with and these double as a scarf come Fall!
4 // GIMME Bands No Break Thick Hair Ties // These are by FAR the best hair ties EVER! They do not get tangled in your hair, they do not stretch out, and they hold things in place. My girls LOVE these!
5 // Fjallraven Laptop Backpack // A splurge, yes. A huge trend, yes. I caved and got Piper one of these backpacks because she wears uniforms to school and does not have a lot of choices in apparel. Her version is large enough for books and a lap top and she is going on her second year using this. It has held up very well and she loves it!
6 // Champion Sweatshirt // These are back in style big time! I remember loving Champion when I was in high school/middle school, my girls love these and they hold up very well and are thick and cozy!
7 // Champion Beanie // These are great for cold weather and I am told are very in style! There are a ton of colors to choose from and they are both functional and on trend.
8 // Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Pens // These are a huge thing with my girls! They use them in their school planners to color coordinate things, they are currently on sale!
9 // Desk Organizer // The perfect way to organize school items while working/schooling from home. Teaching kids to be organized is very important to me and these sure help!
10 // Beats Headphones // My girls have had these for 4 years, they still work very well, hold a charge for literally weeks, and are one of the best investments we have made!
11 // Adidas Edge Lux Shoe // My girls love these sneakers. They are comfortable and hold up very well, I am told that they are a “must have” for Fall!
12 // HP Chromebook // When we moved to distance learning last Fall, we bought these exact computers for our girls and we are so glad that we did. They never have to argue about who is using the computer and this computer has worked really well for both school and personal usage.
13 // TI-85 Calculator // This calculator is school required item for most middle school students. We bought ours last year at this price and it is still the best price that I have found.
14 // Adidas Backpack // My Izzie has had this backpack for going on 2 years. It has help up great, fits a ton, and is both on trend and on sale.
15 // Nike Air Force One // If you have teenagers, you likely know about these shoes, I personally do not like them but never the less, they are so popular! My girls rate them as a true wardrobe staple for teens.
17 // Vera Bradley Smartphone Lanyard // This lanyard has been a life saver for us. My girls take them everywhere. They hold their phones, gift cards, school id, cash etc. They hold up VERY well and are available in a ton of patterns.
18 // Vera Bradley Lanyard // This lanyard strap is wider and more comfortable around the neck than the thinner ones. This pairs perfectly with the smartphone lanyard above.
19 // Table Lamp Touch Night Light – 4 Quickly Charge USB Ports // This touch sensitive lamp has 4 usb ports and changes to 13 colors. A night stand must have item!
20 // Nike Air Force One Sage // These are a new release color of these popular sneakers. My girls are loving these for Fall, I think they are much cuter than the white version!
21 // Adidas Track Pants // We buy these every year. They are currently on sale and such a great basic!
22 // Patagonia Jacket // This fleece is a splurge, but my girls have gotten more use out of this than almost anything they own. They wear these daily because they are SO soft and cozy, plus, they keep them warm!
